Desert Shelter

Desert Shelter was a work that told the stories of migrants who cross the Sonoran Desert, and the way that their bodies are subjected to deep atrophy and decay as they make their way onto a different country. The work is scored for String Sextet and is for choreography, which was provided and performed by NobleMotion Dance. The musical performance was conducted by Sheila del Bosque and musicians with the Ponce Project Foundation.

Desert Shelter fue una obra que contaba las historias de los migrantes que cruzan el desierto de Sonora, y la manera en que sus cuerpos quedan sujetos a una profunda atrofia y deterioro conforme llegan a otro país. La obra está escrita para sexteto de cuerdas y para coreografía, la cual fue realizada e interpretada por NobleMotion Dance. La interpretación musical fue dirigida por Sheila del Bosque junto con músicos de la Ponce Project Foundation.
